Visit Sanya

Sanya, nestled at the southernmost tip of Hainan Island (China's "Hawaii"), is a tropical paradise where palm-fringed beaches meet turquoise waters and year-round sunshine. This coastal gem boasts world-class resorts, vibrant coral reefs, and lush rainforests. Relax on the soft sands of iconic Yalong Bay, dive into adventure at Turtle Island, or explore the mystical Nanshan Buddhist Cultural Park. Indulge in fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and night markets bursting with local flavors. With its unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and luxury, Sanya is perfect for families and travelers seeking paradise. Currently, ordinary passport holders from 74 countries can enter Hainan visa-free, so visiting Sanya will be very convenient for you.

Nestled along Hainan's pristine coastline, Yalong Bay is a paradise of powdery white-sand beaches, swaying palm trees, and shimmering turquoise waters. Renowned as one of Asia's best beaches, it offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Lounge under the sun, swim in the calm sea, or indulge in world-class water sports like kayaking and windsurfing. Luxury meets nature here—luxury resorts line the shore, while lush rainforests and tropical gardens invite quiet exploration. Don't miss the Yalong Bay Tropical Rainforest Park, where hidden waterfalls and exotic wildlife await. With its golden sunsets, gourmet dining, and serene atmosphere, Yalong Bay is your ultimate escape to tropical bliss.

Tianya Haijiao (The Ends of the Earth) is Sanya’s most famous attraction, located just 23 km southwest of the city. Known for its stunning tropical coastline, rich history, and vibrant local culture, this place is a must-visit for travelers.

The name "Tianya Haijiao" comes from two massive seaside rocks carved with the words:"Tianya" (Edge of the Sky) and "Haijiao" (Rim of the Sea). The site features five iconic rocks: Tianya Rock, Haijiao Rock, Southern Heaven Rock, Love Rock (perfect for couples!) and Rock of Blessings. Besides the scenic views, you can also enjoy beach swimming, fishing and yacht rides etc.

Experience the charm of Hainan’s "Oriental Hawaii"—Wuzhizhou Island. With its crystal-clear waters, white-sand beaches, and vibrant coral reefs, it’s perfect for snorkeling, diving, or sunbathing. Explore scenic trails, ride a glass-bottom boat, or enjoy thrilling water sports like parasailing. The island’s dramatic cliffs and hidden coves make it a photographer’s dream. Year-round warm weather and top-notch facilities ensure an unforgettable tropical getaway.

Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone, is one of the first national 5A-level scenic spots and Buddhist-themed tourism demonstration area in Hainan, integrating Buddhist culture, tropical style and marine landscape. The zone blends diverse landscapes and cultures, featuring iconic attractions like Golden Jade Guanyin Statue, Thirty-Three Guanyin Hall and 108-meter-tall Nanshan Guanyin of the South Sea etc.

The core attraction is the 108-meter Nanshan Sea Guanyin Statue, which stands tall in the blue waves. It is hailed as a world-class Buddhist wonder for its grand scale and Buddhist philosophy.
